Commercial Kala Dealer Registration

Summary

Allows anyone possessing more than four kala (Naso unicornis, Naso brevirostris, Naso annulatus) for commercial purposes. Must possess a valid Commercial Marine Dealer License. Kala season runs August 1st to July 31st and is monitored by an Annual Catch Limit.

Other Commercial Fishers Licenses

Commercial Marine Dealer License

Required for businesses to buy marine resources from licensed fishers

Commercial Uhu Dealer Registration

Required for dealers involved in buying or selling uhu (parrotfish) commercially.

Kona Crab/Lobster Closed Season Sales License

Allows the sale of legally harvested Kona crab or lobster during closed fishing seasons.

Special Marine Product License

Permits the sale or transport of restricted or specially regulated marine products.

Aquaculture Dealer License

Authorizes the sale of regulated marine life raised in a licensed aquaculture facility

Aquaculture Facility License

Authorizes operating a facility that breeds or raises aquatic species for aquaculture.

Molokini Shoal MLCD Use Permit

Permit required to conduct activities within the protected Molokini Shoal Marine Life Conservation District.
